IN-HOME COOKING LESSONS
Cooking lessons are perfect for foodies and beginners. They are based on your skills and ambitions and they are the key to understanding the secrets of Italian cuisine. Cooking lessons can be the perfect occasion to spend an original, pleasant time with your family and/or friends. The lessons are followed by a dinner or lunch where you taste that you cooked. Recipes are provided with each lesson. There are different types of lessons:
The Master
you will prepare a whole 3 courses typical Italian meal, in a three-hour lesson.
The Master with Wine Pairing
after a Master cooking lesson we will serve during the dinner a different wine by each course and give you some information about the wines.
Homemade Pasta
the lesson is focused on pasta making. During the lesson, you will make from scratch, different kinds of homemade pasta with their sauces. You will use different flours so you can practice with different textures.
Grani Antichi
Ancient grains are healthier because they are grown without chemical fertilizers. Their smaller production goes to an artisanal or semi-artisanal processing chain. In this way, the product maintains its nutrients and its higher content in minerals and vitamins. They are more digestible thanks to their lower strength and lower gluten index (for this reason they are also more difficult to process). Ancient grains have a more intense aroma and a stronger flavor. During the lesson, you will learn how to use them making bread, salad, pasta and dessert.
Cooking Lesson with Shopping
we will together buy the groceries for the cooking course at the local market and shops. In this way, you can better understand something more about our local ingredients, their freshness and their
production.
Healthy Food Cooking Lesson
You have to change your food habits for healthy, religious or ethic (like vegetarian or vegan) reasons and you don't have the time to inform you and practice with new healthier recipes? This is your lesson. You will learn:
- how to buy healthy ingredients also meat or fish
- organize your pantry
- cook with vegetables, legumes, and cereals
- cook within your dietary guidelines (for example low calories, low salt, low fat, no gluten, no sugars...) without sacrificing flavor
- how to create nutritionally balanced meals with or without meat and/or fish
